This is how Gunther’s reconditions your shoulder pads. After we receive and count your shoulder pads, they are sent to our laundry room to be cleaned and sanitized. Once dried, one of our technicians will inspect the pads, repair them, and make sure that all of the missing or bad parts are replaced. After this process is complete, pads are tied up and packaged for delivery back to your facility.

Gunther’s offers a laundry service. Athletic garments will get a complete cleaning to remove germs and other agents, as well as dirt and grass stains. After they have been cleaned, garments go to the sewing department for complete review. All darning, mending and reinforcing are done to insure the longevity and utility of the clothing. After repairs are completed, the garment is folded and packaged for delivery.

In addition to the reconditioning of football equipment and uniforms, Gunther’s also can turn your old sled pads or blocking dummies into almost new! We can replace old foam, repair rips or sew on new vinyl coverings, even add silsckreened logos to them. If you would like, we will even pick them up. Bags are counted and inspected, repaired and/or recovered, and then packaged for delivery. Don’t buy new ones if we can fix the old ones!

The foundation of our business…Our company started out in 1969 with the reconditioning of football equipment. To this day, we feel that we still do the job with the highest quality, the safety of your equipment and players being priority number one. We are a founding member of the NAERA organization, and a licensed NOCSAE reconditioner. Since we are located in southern California, you can even drop off and pick up your equipment to save some money. All of the work is done locally, which means your equipment will not be sent across any other country’s borders.
How about paint? Do you have a custom color or unique look that you would like? What separates Gunther’s from our competition is the quality of our paint work. Colors are mixed in house, which lets you choose what look you want.
